Write Your Way To Wealth

If you like to write--jokes, letters, books, reports, you name it--there are lots of ways that you can make money. And you don't have to starve for three years while you wait for that first royalty check, either.

Here's how:

  • Write "How To" reports. What do you know a lot about? Blackjack? Blue Jays? Kayaking? Write a "how to" report and sell it by direct response. You don't need fancy equipment or a year's worth of research to create a report. All you need is some working knowledge about the subject and an ability to communicate it to other people.

  • Write a newsletter. Again using a subject with which you're very familiar, create a fee-based newsletter. I've seen these on every subject from church secretaries to stock market trends, with annual subscriptions from $20 to $2500. They can be weekly, monthly, or quarterly, and delivered by direct mail or email.

  • Copywriter. If you can write copy that sells-and you can prove it--then you can make a lot of money. Top writers in the industry charge up to $15,000 per sales letter PLUS a percentage of the profits. Now obviously you're not going to start here, but it's a very realistic goal. Learn, study, and hone your skills. You could be racking up nice profits sooner than you think.
